God spoke in 1993 to Pastor Okumu to come and build for Him Pearl Haven in Mbale. It took 10 years to establish a congregation, purchase land and finally launch the building project in 2003. With a small congregation, building this kind of structure, the only one of its kind and size, has been a serious venture of faith. The ground was water-logged making the process even slower.
After constructing the concrete column footings and ground ring beams, our target of completing the ground slab in 2007 was reached! We appreciate the tireless efforts of the congregation and the financial support from friends that made this possible. Glory to God!
